Cali had a great time on our last road trip, thanks to the “magic cheese” we gave her (which was 99% travel tranquilizer).

Nilla’s Birthday Party

As we noted in yesterday’s blog, America and our guinea pig Nilla share the same birthday. Freedom and vegetables, celebrate!

Everyone, please wish our guinea pig Nilla a happy 3rd birthday!

Today, she will spend some time doing her favorite things, such as eating hay, drinking Tang from her water bottle, and wheeking whenever she wants to be petted. Isn’t it great that everyone will be shooting off fireworks today to celebrate? :)

Meanwhile, her sister Buttercup will spend her time wheeking for attention that she’s not getting because her birthday is later in the year.
